Appreciation Message from Newly Elected Obokun students Union President

It is with immense honor and gratitude that I express my sincere appreciation to everyone who supported, campaigned, and voted for me to become the next President of the Obokun Students’ Union (OBSU).

Your belief in my vision and leadership is deeply humbling, and I am committed to honoring the trust you have placed in me.

My heartfelt thanks go out to all the leaders of the union, the Electoral Committee for their dedication to a fair election, my fellow newly elected executive members, and every member of the Obokun Students’ Union.

Your support is highly valued and deeply appreciated, and I promise you that I will not let you down. I pledge to serve with integrity, dedication, and passion.

I also extend my sincere appreciation to my fellow candidates for the presidential post. You are not losers, but rather valuable leaders. I am confident we will work together to elevate OBSU, harnessing our collective strengths for the betterment of all Obokun students.

Now is the time for action. The great Obokun Students’ Union is now in our hands, and we will work tirelessly, doubling our efforts to ensure that every student’s voice is heard.

Within our first 60 days in office, we propose to achieve the following:

1) Officially register the union with the local government, the Osun Ministry of Youth and Sport, and the Corporate Affairs Commission.

2) Open our official union account.

3) Revitalize the Council of Presidents, making it stronger than ever.

4) Launch various online webinar programs, with many more initiatives to follow.

Thank you once again for your unwavering support. Let us embark on this journey together and make OBSU a union we can all be proud of.
