Super Falcons Defeat South Africa

The Super Falcons have beaten South Africa 1 – 0 in the CAF women’s Olympic tournament qualifiers.

The goal was scored by Rasheedat Ajibade 43 minutes into the game.

Super Falcons, Nigeria’s senior women’s national team, are playing South Africa’s senior women’s national team, Bayana Bayana, Friday, April 5, at MKO Abiola Stadium in Abuja.

The two countries are fighting for the 2024 Paris Olympics games ticket.

The first leg was played in Abuja and the second leg is slated for April 9, in Pretoria, South Africa.
