The Chairman of the Osun State welfare Pligrim board, Pastor Funsho Ishola has assured members of the Living Faith Church, state headquarters, Oke-onitea Osogbo of Peace and Safety in Jerusalem.
Pastor Funsho Ishola, disclosed this while addressing the church during the Second Sunday service Today at the Living Faith Church,(LFC) Oke-Onitea, Osogbo.
The chairman titled his address to the church as “Sensitization of Christian on the state of the “Holy Land, JERUSALEM” in respect to the ongoing war between Isreal and Gaza.
He explained that the National welfare Pilgrim board choose representatives from each state in the federation to visit the Jerusalem to ascertain the state of the war effect on the Holy Land and the chosen delegates came back with good report that Jerusalem is peaceful, not affected by the war and all activities is being carried out without fear of being attacked or bombed.
Pastor Funsho Ishola laid stress that the national
commission has sent them to Jerusalem to see things for themselves reiterating that there is absolute peace in Jerusalem.
He added that no doubt, serious war is ongoing in Gaza but in Jerusalem it is peaceful.
Pastor Funsho Ishola, then urged members to plan to go for pilgrimage, disclosing that travelling expenses to Holy land for the year 2024 is presently #3.3million, which covers travelling to and from Jerusalem, eating, accommodation and movement around the Holy land.
Speaking further, He referenced the book of the prophet Isaiah 45:3, which say, “I will give you the treasures of darkness [the hoarded treasures] And the hidden riches of secret places, So that you may know that it is I, The Lord, the God of Israel, who calls you (Cyrus the Great) by your name”. He made reference to the Bible verse to admonish the members of the Living Faith Church, Oke-Onitea to hold on tight to the promises of God’s word as it will be evident in their lives in relation to the Sunday theme: “tagged Covenant Day of Business Breakthrough”.
In attendance with the State Chairman, Pastor Funsho Ishola, Osun State Welfare Pilgrim Board were the Executive Secretary of the Board for Osun State, Pst Sunday Babawale, Evangelist Femi Taiwo and Pastor Victor Bajulaiye.
