I’ll Retire Atiku To Rearing Of Cows And Chickens – VP Shettima

Vice-President Kashim Shettima says he will retire Atiku Abubakar, presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in the last elections, to a life on the farms with all the livestock he needs.

Shettima made the remarks during a chat with journalists outside the court of appeal in Abuja, moments after the presidential election tribunal upheld the victory of President Bola Tinubu.

Shettima added that the phase of politics is over, governance phase activated.

He acknowledge Atiku Abubakar as an elder statesman that he holds in very high esteem.

Recall, on Wednesday, the five-member panel of the presidential election petition tribunal dismissed the suits filed by Abubakar and Peter Obi, presidential candidate of the Labour Party (LP) in the February 25 election.

The justices also pronounced Tinubu as duly elected president of the federal republic of Nigeria.
