Osun APC birth Omoluabi Caucus political group

Osun APC has birthed Omoluabi Caucus”, a new political group within the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Osun state.

Rauf Aregbesola, immediate-past minister of interior, today, inaugurated the Omoluabi Caucus.

Speaking at the launch of the group on Tuesday at Ilesa in Osun, Aregbesola said APC lost the last gubernatorial election in the state due to indiscipline and lack of focus.

In July 2022, Ademola Adeleke of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) defeated Gboyega Oyetola, incumbent governor at the time, at the polls.

Subsequently, Oyetola challenged the victory of Ademola in the court and lost.

The former governor said Omoluabi is not a faction and that the group is committed to strengthening the party in the state.

Members of the newly formed caucus are drawn from the 332 wards in the state.
