The world record holder, Tobi Amusan in her first race, since being cleared for doping by the Athletics Integrity Unit, clocked 12.48s (0.4) to win the fifth heat ahead of Jamaican Champion.
Nigeria’s Tobi Amusan began her 100m hurdles title defence at the World Athletics Championship in Budapest by finishing top of her heat.
Todays’ win of the victory, qualifies Amusan for the semi-finals on Wednesday.
Just over a year after smashing the world record in Eugene, Oregon USA, Amusan has enjoyed a superb run of form, defending her Diamond League title in a record-breaking season that saw her set impressive records.
