Tinubu meets Okonjo-Iweala at State House

President Bola Tinubu meets with Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala, director-general of the World Trade Organisation (WTO), at the presidential villa in Abuja.

The WTO DG walked into the villa accompanied by Ali Pate, one of Tinubu’s ministerial nominees.

The details of the meeting were not known at the time of filing this report.

This is the second time Tinubu and Okonjo-Iweala are meeting since the president assumed office on May 29.

The former minister of finance last met with Tinubu in June when they both attended the leadership summit held in Paris, France.
