The spokesperson for the Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) Osun State, Agnes Ogungbemi, said the bodies of the two adult male involved in the accident that occurred last Wednesday along ìfẹ́-Ondo road has been recovered.
The two male adults travelling in a Toyota Venza plunged into the river. along the Ife-Ondo Road, Osun State, and their bodies have been recovered from a river in Eti-Oni community.
She said local divers located the vehicle and when it was pulled out, the corpses of the occupants were found inside the vehicle.

Two male adults travelling in a Toyota Venza which was involved in a road accident along the Ife-Ondo Road, Osun State, have been recovered from a river in Eti-Oni community.
The spokesperson for the Federal Road Safety Corps, Osun State, Agnes Ogungbemi, in a statement on Saturday, said the accident occurred last Wednesday when the vehicle plunged into the river.
Ogungbemi said local divers eventually located the vehicle and when it was pulled out, the corpses of the occupants were found. She added that the accident must have been caused by speeding.
At the scene of the recovery the relations of the victims were present. Meanwhile, the corpses were buried by the riverside according to the tradition of the community, while the retrieved crashed vehicle was handed over to the Ifetedo Divisional Police Officer.”
The Osun Sector Commander of the FRSC, Henry Benamaisia, warned motorists against disregarding traffic rules.
